Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Description

As a Business Intelligence Analyst required to create interactive dashboards that drive analytical insights and decisions. You will be responsible for analyzing data and creating efficient dashboards and visualizations, creating automated processes and mechanisms to generate reports. You will collaborate with product owners, engineers, data scientists, and subject matter experts.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 years+ experience designing and developing complex dashboards using BI Tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, QLIK.
  • Experience building complex SQL queries for data source creation.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or a similar field from an accredited college or university with 2 years of experience, or AA in related field and 4 years of progressive. 5 years relevant and recent experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.


Clearance Requirement: US Citizen with existing Department of Defense (DoD) clearance (Secret) or US Citizen eligible for DoD clearance (Secret).

Required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Strong SQL Skills and strong understanding Data Modeling
  • Experience developing custom ETL solutions using Python and SQL
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to break down technical ideas/topics
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized in an ever-changing environment
  • Ability to operate successfully and independently in a fast-paced environment

Desired Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Apache Hive
  • Knowledge of Cloudera Data Science Workbench
