Summary
Responsible for driving an 18-wheeler flat beds to shuttle oversized loads (8'-13' wide to 60' long)
Primary responsibilities
Need to be a working driver - Strap product down & crank bed
Help crews when needed
AM CREW â?? 90% Driving & 10% Helping Crews
PM CREW â?? 25% Driving & 75% Helping Crews
(However, this can change on a daily basis depending on the needs of shipping)
Complete administrative paperwork
Conduct a pre-trip inspection each day
Eligibility Requirement
Must have a Class A CDL Driver's License
Must have a valid DOT Medical Card
Must have a clean MVR for 3 years
Must be able to operate a manual transmission
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The ability to lift, bend, climb, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs
Work outside all day in heat or cold
Exposure to fumes, vibrations, and noise levels
Ability to push and pull 40 lbs.
The ability to work 8 to 12 hour shifts
Be able to work weekends.
