Amentum is seeking a Senior Information Assurance Analyst to join our team in Dahlgren, VA.

Like learning about new systems and leading edge weapon systems capabilities? Come learn and explore new technologies, new software, new hardware, and development tools in support of the Aegis, USW and LCS systems. Along the way, advise the Government by researching technologies and developing procedures for new Fleet capabilities. Help design, review and contribute to the Navy's new system.


Provide input to the RMF process for accreditation and validation of weapon systems.
Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices outlined in the security plan.
Ensure all users have the requisite security clearances, authorization, and need-to-know, and are aware of their security responsibilities before granting access to the IS.
Initiate with the approval of the IAM (Information Assurance Manager) and Security Officer, protective or corrective measures when a security incident or vulnerability is discovered.
Develop and maintain all SSP (System Security Plan)s/(System Security Authorization Agreement) SSAAs.
Ensure configuration ware, hardware, and management (CM) for security-relevant IS software, hardware, and firmware is maintained and documented.
Ensure that system recovery processes are monitored to ensure that security features and procedures are properly restored.
Ensure all IS security-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.
Ensure that system security requirements are addressed during all phases of the system life cycle.
Follow procedures developed by the ISSM (Information System Security Manager)/(Program Security Officer)PSO, authorizing software, hardware, and firmware use before implementation on systems.

Minimum Requirements
AA or BS Degree in Information Assurance, Cyber Security, Incident Response, Security Management, or discipline directly related to Cyber Security; or five (5) years specialized experience.
Knowledgeable of DoD 8510.01 Department of Defense Instruction Number 8510.01 Dated March 12. 2014. Subject: Risk Management Framework (RMF) of DoD Information Technology (IT) and DISAI 630-230-19 Information Assurance
Previous RMF experience
Due to the nature of the work, must be a U.S. citizen.
Must have an active Top Secret or Secret with fully adjudicated SSBI security clearance.
Must hold one of these IAM Level 2 certifications: CAP, CASP, CISSP, CISM, GSLC

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with the Aegis / USW / LCS weapon systems
Navy Validator
CISSP or CASP preferred
