SAIC has an opportunity for a Common Mission Control Center (CMCC) Subject Matter Expert and Requirements Officer.  The successful applicant will support the integration of advanced program concepts and technologies as well as coordinate and integrate resource priorities across the Special Access Program (SAP) portfolio, shaping Combat Air Forces (CAF) programming strategy to ensure warfighter future requirements are met. Successful applicant will begin working to develop and field the USAF’s most cutting edge C2 capabilities and help to define the future of Command and Control. Direct interface with the ABMS, Tactical BMC2 and Joint All-Domain C2 programs.

  • Recent USAF 13B (Air Battle Manager) experience or Air Operations Center (AOC) development required. Experience in operations of RQ-4 Global Hawk, U-2, or RQ-170 highly desired.
  • Strong knowledge of C2 doctrine, organization and TTPs
  • Special Access Required program experience highly desired
  • Serve as the advanced technical focal point for supporting program management, requirements definition, technical, and analytical support to ACC/A5/8Z
  • Serve as subject matter expert for CMCC operations, training, manning, and base support needs for Special Access Requirements
  • Regularly interface with OSD, Joint Staff, Air Staff, MAJCOMs, NAFs, AF TENCAP, FFRDCs, and other Government organizations when performing duties associated with ACC/A5/8Z
  • Provide advice and assistance to leadership in the areas of mission needs and requirements analysis, concept of operations development, program tradeoff analysis, program roadmap creation including technology insertion, platform integration, and support planning
  • Recommend policy changes and support the communication of policy changes
  • Assist in the drafting, review and implementation of procedures, policy, systems capability definition and requirement documents, and guidance for incorporation into CAF operations
  • Provide security/indoc briefing to personnel
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend ACC/A5/8Z functions and conferences – approximately ten (10) per year
  • Represent ACC/A5/8Z personnel at CAF requirements meeting and other SAP planning meetings


- Bachelor’s degree with 14 years of experience OR Master degree with 12 years of experience in DoD disciplines including mission need and requirements analysis

- Ten (10) years’ experience working on Air Dominance programs or in the Air Dominance mission area

- Four (4) years of SAP experience within the last six (6) years required
