The Sales Development Representative performs a high-volume of cold-call engagements, actively uses their discovery and listening skills to identify potential customers, generate net new opportunities which are passed to their region’s sales team and ensure the accuracy of SFDC data.Primary ObjectivesProspect, qualify and develop leads into sales-ready opportunitiesDocument all activities in our CRM system to ensure efficient lead managementMeet or exceed monthly and quarterly new opportunity generation metricsMeet or exceed daily call and email metricsQualifications- Prospect, qualify and develop leads into sales-ready opportunitiesEstablish and build rapport with prospects via telephone and emailCalling Prospects/Answering Prospect CallsSuccessfully manage and overcome sales objections to develop interestEmailing Prospects/Responding to Prospect Emails using OutlookTransform all received leads into qualified sales opportunitiesResearch target contacts and accountsTarget company/contact researchDocument all activities in Salesforce to ensure efficient lead managementCapture accurate and complete prospect information.Salesforce Activity Notes, Lead Stage change and Opportunity buildsMeet or exceed monthly and quarterly new opportunity generation metricsMeet or exceed daily call and email metrics.Education And/or ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study a plusMinimum of one (1) year experience as a Sales Development (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR).
