Lead Pricing Analyst, Government Pricing

Telework is available with this position.

We are looking to hire a Lead Pricing Analyst to join our Pricing Team for the Defense Systems Engineering Group.

The Lead Pricing Analyst will work as a member of the strategic pricing team to pursue and capture new business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads and/ or manages major and complex cost proposals generally valued above $50M+.
  • Applies a broad knowledge of general accounting, cost accounting and financial analysis techniques for a variety of the most complex financial and general business problems.
  • Develops complex pricing strategies and performs risk and cash flow analyses.
  • Develops and presents price assumptions, financial summaries, and risk assessment to senior leadership prior to proposal submission.
  • Prepares special reports and analysis as required.
  • Provides strategic focus to all proposal efforts.
  • Provides work leadership/technical guidance to lower level pricing analysts.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business related field from an accredited U.S. institution.
  • 10+ years related experience with direct Government pricing in accounting, finance or related field.
  • An additional eight (8) years related work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Skills Required:

  • Comprehensive technical and functional knowledge of direct government pricing practices, regulations and procedures.
  • Experience using Government-provided cost templates as well as experience building complex cost models.
  • Understanding of government regulations related to the development and negotiation of cost proposals (FAR, DFARS, CAS)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced MS Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen to make sound management decisions/recommendations.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Comprehensive organizational, written, and oral communication skills.

Basic Compensation:

$93,700.00 - $140,500.00

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
