Integration Analyst

Coordinator with Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in developing doctrine and a basic to advanced understanding of Counter–Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) and to support the Department of Defense’s Joint Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Office (JCO). Analyst will support the Requirements and Capabilities Division and other team members’ actions as a focal point for the Department to synchronize and integrate C-UAS efforts for all stakeholders to include Office Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, Services, and Inter-Agency. CONUS and OCONUS activities. Duties will include:

  • Maintain situational awareness of existing Service C-UAS doctrine to support both CONUS/OCONUS activities
  • Provide expertise on Joint Doctrine Development System and the Joint Doctrine Development Process
  • Assess/analyze current doctrine and make recommendations on improving C-UAS doctrine.
  • Develops, analyzes, organizes, plans, coordinates, and produces doctrine and doctrine related materials
  • Ensure that all products including graphics, terminology and abbreviations incorporated within concept and doctrinal products shall comply with Joint or Service level standards
  • Working in conjunction with the operations team, incorporate lessons learned and conduct historical research for inclusion into doctrine
  • Working in conjunction with the JCO team to ensure doctrine development is within DoD and Joint policy directives
  • Research, develop, and deliver concepts, doctrinal products and draft publications to meet specific milestones as directed by Branch or Division Chief
  • Provide expertise to administrative and operational functions and execute staff actions to support JCO efforts using multiple systems to include but not limited to Task Management Tool (TMT) and CATMS.
  • Prepare written products (reports, info papers, executive summaries) to shape and defend JCO positions
  • Prepare and present briefings to leadership and stakeholders
  • Represent the JCO in C-UAS forums as a team leader or participant to advocate for the JCO
  • Answer requests for information from legislature (e.g. Congress) and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, science, business administration or equivalent experience required. (Master’s Degree preferred)
  • 3-5 years of Senior Level Staff experience; Service, Joint and/or OSD Staff preferred
  • 15 years of related work experience
  • Secret level security clearance is required, Top Secret preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
