ManTech is seeking a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our MCIA team supporting our growing Marine Corps programs in Quantico, VA.

General Responsibilities: 

  • Utility team player that can communicate with all command elements, echelons, and stakeholders within the organization to include Government, Military, and Contractor personnel
  • Provide Technical SME/PM support
  • Capture and communicate strategic initiatives
  • Improve processes and internal controls
  • Manage Continuity of Operations planning and support activities
  • Disseminate products, processes, and procedures
  • Work individually and in large teams handling multiple projects concurrently
  • Provide leadership updates/briefs on current projects
  • Use, Administer, Train, and Advocate for KM tools
  • Assist teams with developing and implementing operational standards
  • Help stakeholders identify and prioritize requirements and tasking
  • Other duties as assigned

Mandatory Skills Requirements: 

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI DoD Clearance
  • Must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree and 5 years of experience, 5years of experience can replace degree requirements. Applied Science Degree and/or Advanced Degree preferred
  • Must have experience working with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Expertise in tools and processes used across the DoD and IC communities
  • In depth working knowledge of the different project management/lifecycle methodologies to include Waterfall and Agile
  • Excellent documentation/technical writing skills
  • Identify and propose improvements to current templates and processes
  • Ability to work with customers to derive, capture, and refine relevant requirements
  • Excellent analytical skills and not afraid to ask “Why”
  • Working knowledge of AGILE practices
  • Transpose requirements into relevant user stories, tasking, risks, level of effort, and acceptance criteria
  • Ability to facilitate a meeting to ensure action items are captured, discussions stay on topic, and agenda items are covered within reason of the time allotted
  • Detailed experience tracking project status to include, but not limited to, required documentation, tasking, risks, bugs/issues, lessons learned, metrics, change requests, and decision logs
  • Analyze and evaluate formal requests for overall qualification, whether the request meets a business need, identify if more information needs to be discovered, identify if the request fits a project mold or needs to be broken into separate tasking/projects, provide a risk assessment, propose a team composition, and present findings to leadership/decision makers/Command Resources Board

Other Skills Preferred: 

  • Scrum Master Certified
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • SIGINT, IMINT, MASINT, All Source experience preferred
  • Previous experience as a Program Manager and/or Team Lead
  • Prior experience using project management tools such as JIRA, TFS, MS Project, CollabNet, and Visio
  • Working knowledge of DoD/USMC/MCIA infrastructure, organization, and mission
  • Experience with MS Dynamics CRM and ServiceNow
  • Previous Intelligence Analyst experience

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
