Title:

Production Team Support Assistant

KBR is seeking a Production Team Support Assistan t in our Patuxent River, Maryland location. This role will provide assistance in the full acquisition lifecycle project management process in regards to various program level support to the program management offices.

Job Description:

The Production Team Support Assistant will interface with multiple government client organizations to coordinate and assist with project processes.

Generates reports and creates Excel spreadsheets; Creates and tracks project schedules, maintaining detailed program related reports.

Monitors progress of program requirements and reports back to management.

Creates and presents briefs for IPT Bi Weekly meetings.

Uploads action item tracker and Bi-Weekly briefs to Team SharePoint site; Follow-up on outstanding items as needed.

Formulates Travel Authorizations for upcoming travel; Assist with tracking IPT travel expenses and reconciliations.

Assists in developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program.

Assists senior management in establishing and defining program requirements.

Supports Integrated Project Team (IPT) activities, creates and tracks schedules, leads weekly status meetings, and produces detailed reports used by the team and management. Specific work as detailed below:

  • Assists in analyzing and evaluating (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) the effectiveness of line program operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
  • Assists in the analysis of of procurement strategies, preparing procurement documentation, and preparing reviewing cost estimates used for production cut-in decisions.
  • Support to E-2D Production delivery schedule and perform analysis/reviews.
  • Assists with IPT with planning, coordination, scheduling, and management assessments of E-2D new production and E-2C/C-2 Depot production recommendations.
  • Provides administrative support for records, communications, directives, forms, files, and documentation.
  • Analyzes reports to determine the appropriate changes or corrective action required.
  • Assists with initiation and tracking of Multi-Year Production related documentation and reports.
  • Analyze Production Metrics and Earned Value data to identify corrective actions, control cost, and optimize schedule.
  • Provide analysis/recommendations to aid the Production IPT in should cost initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

Must have at least a High School diploma plus five years of secretarial or administrative support experience.

Must have at least two years of experience in a project management support role.

An active secret level clearance is required.
