Technical Advisor - Process

As Process Engineer you are responsible for performing process technology related engineering works as well as with leading of project teams and compliance with quality, timeline and costs. Your tasks will include mainly following activities in engineering, delivery of hardware and the provision of site services for chemical plants based on our technologies.

  • As specialist for crystallization and evaporation you will perform process design and engineering work for the realization of commercial-scale process plants including preparation for conceptual designs, Heat & Material Balances, utilities consumption, PFDs, P&IDs, Equipment Design, process control concepts, process relevant input to other engineering disciplines, Operating Manuals etc.
  • Perform technical assistance services at site for commissioning, start-up and test-run of the plants incl. representing our company in site discussion with clients and third parties
  • Planning of, supervision of execution as well as evaluation and reporting of lab and pilot plant testing work
  • Participation in technical proposal work, technology presentations and technical contract preparation and negotiation
  • Management/coordination of multidisciplinary and partly international project teams
  • Ensuring compliance with project objectives (incl. budget, time line, quality) as well as contractual obligations
  • Support reaching payment milestones
  • Support change management
  • Technical correspondence with clients and vendors and organization and leading of project, client and supplier meetings
  • Supporting purchase department and coordination of equipment procurement, inspection, expediting and delivery


  • Completed studies as and industrial engineer, process engineer or mechanical engineer
  • At least 5-year experience in international engineering and plant preferable in chemical plants
  • At least 3-year experience in relevant technologies such as crystallization and evaporation for inorganic feedstocks
  • Good team worker
  • Very good German and English communication skills in communication
  • High level of diligence, self-driven and self-motivated personality
  • You like working with international teams
  • Readiness for international travelling
  • Special Requirements - Travel: may need to travel to client site periodically
