Liquibox is looking for a positive, outgoing, energetic, "people" person who will develop market segment-specific positioning, messaging and sales tools to compete and win. This positionÂ´s top focus will be to help salespeople understand their target customers as well as those customers understand their needs, and then positioning product solutions accordingly. He or she will uncover the real buying motivations before introducing products and services into the conversation and use them to create compelling and inspiring value stories. A successful candidate will be skilled at positioning products on 70% WHO, WHAT & WHY (market and customers), leaving 30% for HOW (product proof points that substantiate differentiation messages).
This is a challenging and creative role which offers some scope to manage your own workload. The Global Product Marketing Manager must be flexible, adaptable, and good at working in cross-functional global teams.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Turn technical product documentation into customer presentations / literature that tells a compelling value story
Work closely with sales, R&D and other teams to collect the relevant information on NPD and create a product launch calendar and selling kits for each market segment.
Gather market expertise â?? industry dynamics, operational business practices , competitors NPD activity â?? and translate it into relevant value messages for target customers.
Train the salesforce on product and competitive positioning, keeping them energized, inspired, motivated and proficient at selling Liquibox solutions.
Work closely with the communications manager to develop promotional campaigns.
Experience & Qualifications
Education: College degree in business / marketing preferred
1-3 years' experience in product marketing.
1-3 years' experience in direct sales, as most product marketing responsibilities require strong selling skills, both internal and external.
Strong domain expertise in the packaging industry.
Previous exposure to packaging sustainability and experience in remote cross-functional teams is a plus.
Excellent copywriting, presentation and selling skills.
Ability to start every conversation with WHO, WHAT & WHY (the market dynamics and/or business goals of the customer) before ending with the HOW (product capabilities).
An energetic, articulate, and credible personality that our sales, R&D and marketing teams will respect and look to for guidance and leadership on all product-positioning questions.
Computer Experience & Software: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
