Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission-oriented Senior Systems Administrator - Network Monitoring Systems in the Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington DC area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide support for proactive network monitoring solutions.

  • Responsible for the day to day operations of network monitoring solution to include the design, planning and execution of the solution to new and existing systems.

  • Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade and document the enterprise network and system monitoring tools such as SolarWinds.

  • Diagnose and resolve network performance and/or technical challenges.

  • ?Configure SolarWinds to monitor all network objects, servers and appliances across domains.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience.

  • Minimum Three to eight years of relevant experience supporting projects of similar size, scope and complexity.

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Hyper-V Cluster Management.

  • Possess exceptional customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal).

  • DoD 8140 compliance required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline is preferred.

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Eligibility.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing/walking/Talking and must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • ?Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work site to another.

  • Constantly positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • Must be able to detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, & Assess.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

  • Working with computers.
