Technical Professional- Engineering Systems Analyst

KBR is currently seeking a mid- to senior-level Missile Defense Systems Analyst to support the development of air and missile defense systems. The candidate will be part of a team performing analysis of Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) performance for MDS Ground Tests, Flight Tests (System Pre-Mission Test and System Post-Flight Reconstruction), and Continuous Developmental Integration activities.

The candidate will support the development of threat scenarios, MDS emplacement, simulation integration analysis, data analysis, and support simulation verification and validation activities. The candidate will assist with the development of material to be presented at engineering reviews that summarizes the analytical work performed. Other activities include establishing requirements for evaluation tools and processes, developing analytical tools, providing analytical support to the test planning process, and coordination of analytical results within the MDS community.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or other related technical field and 5+ years’ experience in missile defense system analysis is required.
  • Good computational software skills are required
  • Must possess the ability to clearly express ideas/concepts, perform as part of a team, and be capable of operating in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Qualified applicants will have excellent communication, organizational, and technical writing skills and take a proactive role to assure that responsibilities are completed on or ahead of schedule.
  • The candidate must be able to work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, Prime contractors, and Supporting Contractor personnel.
  • Position requires that candidate be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience analyzing one or more BMDS elements or components including radar systems, missiles, communications systems, fire control and Battle Management, Command & Control, Communication (BMC3).
