Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Support Officer 2 to join our team in the McLean, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides intelligence for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, training exercises, and strategic engagement policy as assigned.
  • Monitors and analyzes all strategic and operational aspects of political, military, and economic developments for assigned areas
  • Assesses future and on-going political-military developments, military capabilities and doctrine, weapons acquisitions, and employment of military forces within each country.
  • Researches, authors, and coordinates threat assessments connecting information from multiple sources and assessing the believability of the information from the reliable sources, collects it and validates intelligence.
  • May specialize in intelligence analysis with respect to Full Motion Video (FMV), Signals Intelligence, or Human Intelligence
  • Requires expanded knowledge and experience in own area; incumbents are still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills
  • Builds knowledge of the company, processes and customers
  • Solves a range of straightforward problems
  • Analyses possible solutions using standard procedures
  • Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction
  • Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own area of expertise while developing additional skill sets
  • Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work
  • No supervisory responsibilities but may provide guidance to new associates
  • Solves standard problems by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents
  • Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies
  • Explains information to others in straightforward situations

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requries Bachelor’s Degree and 3 – 4 years of relevant experience
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Security Requirements:

  • TS/SCI with poly

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
