ManTech is seeking a Lead Network Engineer to support critical MHS infrastructure, on behalf of DAD IO/J-6, by performing life cycle management of MHS circuits. The ideal candidate has experience successfully leading the design and execution of processes and practices that optimize customer and partner interfaces within a high-visibility, mission-focused, enterprise IT program.  


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Support definition of the life cycle program for managed circuits within the MHS, which outlines the DHA circuit support strategy and ensures the proactive provisioning and management of circuits to MHS IT Customers.

  • Document and maintain policies, processes, procedures, and SOPs for circuit management. 

  • Track, monitor, and report on the overall circuit management function 

  • Responsible for a team that will:

  • Coordinate with MHS IT Customers for the full life cycle of circuits; including provisioning, discontinuing, changing, tracking, billing, and overall management of circuit infrastructure. 

  • Interface with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) for matters related to Circuit provisioning and Authorized Service Interruption (ASI) processing. 

  • Track DHA circuit requests through DISA procurement stages (e.g. Telecommunication Service Request, Telecommunication Service Order, and Status of Acquisition Message).   

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Minimum IA Technical (IAT) Level II certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP) 

  • Computing Environment (CE) Professional level (Expert level preferred) certification 

  • Master’s degree with a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of twelve (12) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency 

  • Knowledge of and experience with the MHS 


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • ITIL 4 certification 


Security Clearance Requirements: 

  • US Citizenship required and active DoD Secret clearance 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Stationary work at an office desk setting 50% of time

  • Traversing to accomplish tasks by moving from one work site to another or between different floors in a building

  • Communicating with others to exchange information
