DOD SKILLBRIDGE DESCRIPTION

Opportunity: Aftermarket Purchasing

Training Location: Racine, WI or Virtual

Length: 90 Days/120 Days *Length of Program offers some flexibility

Job Placement Location: Racine, WI or Virtual

Funding Sources: Company sponsored. If housing is needed, Company will subsidize housing cost. $400/month charge to service member.

Employment offers may be in the area of Internship, or in other business areas based on: headcount availability, operational needs, interns job interest and location preferences.

Week 1 Orientation:

1. Team Introductions & Program Overview

2. Meet employees and match intern with a peer/mentor.

3. Introduction and first meeting with CNHI Veteran Ambassador.

4. Orientation to CNH Industrial and CNHI Aftermarket Solutions

5. Overview of Purchasing process & of Purchasing impacts the overall AMS Business.

6. Clearly define company culture and expectations.

7. Get access to all required CNH systems

Goal of Week 1: Intern has an overview of AMS purchasing role, responsibilities, and how it
supports the AMS organization.

Weeks 2-4 Purchasing Education:

1. Begin to familiarize the intern with CNHI Systems used in a purchasing role.

a. GPP Purchasing System

b. CSPS Materials Management Planning

c. I Viewer P/N Prints/Drawings

d. Engineering Central, Parts Catalog Bill Of Materials (BOM), (where used) e. Sled Tool and Ear Tool Engineering related support systems 2. Intern to train with Buyers and Manager to gain working knowledge of the above systems. 3. Release intern to work in systems and shadow experienced buyers. 4. Intern will shadow buyers and attend meetings to understand purchasing principles 5. Intern will start pulling data from CNH Industrial Systems to understand and familiarize themselves with supplier contracts, APV /spend, Commodities, and part drawings. 6. Weekly Meeting with Manager to answer any questions and debrief on progress and skills learned that week. Goal of weeks 2-4: Intern begins to form a working knowledge of CNH Systems that allow him/her to feel a basic level of confidence in the purchasing related systems. The intern will take such system knowledge and start pulling and summarizing data to help the purchasing team in small 1 off projects

Weeks 5-8 Systems/Project

1. Having working knowledge and confidence in the purchasing systems and with the support of

a buyer or the Purchasing Manager, the intern will begin a project as defined by the
Purchasing Manager.

2. This project will allow the intern to use the purchasing systems and navigate inside the AMS
organization.

3. The project/s will allow the intern to collaborate with internal teams on the specific project.

4. The defined project/s will enable him/her to understand the administrative and strategic role
a Buyer takes inside a group of commodities or suppliers.

5. Weekly meeting with Manager to answer any questions and debrief on progress and skills
learned that week.

Goal of week 5-8: Ensure that intern recognizes the significance of the project and the
administrative and strategic benefits it has to the organization.

Weeks 9 -12: Project Review and Report out

1. Having gathered the data on the project/s the intern will summarize and begin the report out.

2. Set up meetings and engage the team and review the data (market test, or findings) and also
communicate the findings in various communications (Excel/PPT)

3. Schedule and present the findings to the specific teams engaged in the project

4. Shadow a Buyer on the market test process and perform it on his/her own

5. Weekly meeting with Manager to answer any questions and debrief on progress and skills
learned that week.

Goal of weeks 9-12: Intern sees what it takes to manage the data, a project/s and engage with the
supporting teams to implement the project where applicable.

Weeks 13-15: Implement project and manage resourcing activities

1. After gathering the data and reviewing with the purchasing team and internal customers, the
intern will begin the phase of implementing the project.

2. This will give the intern the ability to work with internal customers and such as Materials Management, Engineering and or Quality for resourcing approvals. 3. As well communication and finalizing sourcing agreements with external 3rd party CNH suppliers. 4. The intern will have the opportunity to work in purchasing systems to finalize sourcing actions and understand the systems first hand. Goal of week 13-15: The intern will have the opportunity to work in purchasing systems and be able to action and implement sourcing actions.

Week 16: Final week of Internship

1. Intern will present a PPT of their project/s to the purchasing team.

2. Intern will also present their PPT to the other AMS teams (As defined by CNH HR)

3. Final Evaluation presented by Mgr. (As outlined by CNH HR)

Goal of week 16: Intern to present what they have learned and their interest in CNH, as well as an
open and honest evaluation of the intern's performance will be held.

NOTE: The above descriptions reflects a standard description of a DOD Skill bridge opportunity within the stated department at CNH Industrial. CNH Industrial DOD Skillbridge opportunities offer a reasonable amount of flexibility in Length of Program. The program outline may be adjusted to reflect the timeline of the service members assignment.

In addition to the standard description above, all DOD Skillbridge Interns will participate in the following:

1. Veteran Ambassador: "Veteran Ambassadors" will be full time, CNH Industrial employees who have successfully transitioned from active duty to a civilian corporate role. The "Veteran Ambassador" will be accessible to the DOD Skillbridge participant for periodic meetings, support in navigating the organization, and/or discussion on transition experiences.

2. Leadership Informational Meeting(s): Depending on the duration of the DOD Skillbridge assignment, and the Interns interest, he/she will be scheduled for 1 to 3 informational meetings with CNHI Leaders. This meeting is intended to offer an opportunity to learn more about the company, career opportunities, and general information on civilian careers and leadership.
