The Opportunity

To support the growth of the transport business in Sydney, we are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer / Design Manager to provide technical oversight and management across several existing and upcoming major infrastructure projects. The role will include a variety of design delivery, design management and project management functions, where you will be required to bring together the expertise of multiple key technical specialties to meet technical compliance, quality, cost and safety outcomes for our projects.

Another key focus of the role includes the initiation of good relationships with clients, pursuit of opportunities, contributing to proposals, budgets and plans, management of stakeholders and interaction with regulatory authorities. You may also manage small projects and proposals as a “seller / doer” or manage work packages on a larger project.

Who are you?

If COVID-19 has taught us anything, it’s that working together to reach common goals cannot be done without passion and commitment behind them. The ideal candidate will be degree qualified and have experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams, specifically in the delivery of rail infrastructure designs. Extensive experience across a broad range of transport infrastructure projects is important, particularly with some exposure to the brown field rail environment. Experience in preparation of contracts and specifications is also a key requirement for this role.
