What you will be working on

SharePoint Support Officer provides support and site administrator role functions for SharePoint and associated sites. The role works closely with our Digital Team and internal/external clients. Support tasks include, troubleshooting and technical support, configuration, workflow logic and migrations. You will be required to respond to requests and incidents in line with agreed SLAs.

You will be responsible for providing training and developing training resources (and associated documentation) for users, content providers and managers of the SharePoint sites. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working with end users (including SharePoint content managers), developers and other technical roles.

The position is ideally suited to candidates with an interest in growing capabilities to complimentary products supporting the KBR ecosystem including Nintex and MS Power Platform etc…

Scope of the role

  • Provide support including: permissions, site configuration, management of metadata, search indexes etc…
  • Troubleshooting, responding to service requests and resolving to technical issues (working with other technical roles as required) to agreed SLAs
  • SharePoint migrations
  • Contributing to SharePoint policies and strategies
  • Reporting on SharePoint metrics
  • Development of training resources for end users, content providers and managers
  • Training end users, content providers and managers

Qualifications and experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in field of Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or similar.
  • Suitably experienced with SharePoint support/service delivery and site administration roles
  • In-demonstrated technical understanding of SharePoint online and related technologies
  • Understands where SharePoint and Nintex fits within an organisation and how it relates to IT systems and services.
  • Experience in developing and delivering technical training
  • Demonstrated problem-solving mindset – sound analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
