KBR is seeking a highly motivated mission analysis engineer to support the NRO’s SIGINT Directorate. The SIGINT directorate is looking to address future intelligence collection challenges with innovative solutions. The successful candidate understands the mission needs to overcome development and operations limitations of current systems and can guide revolutionary change in how the NRO conducts its mission.

Duties:

  • Work with customer, industry, and NRO peers to lead SIGINT mission analysis for new systems and capabilities.
  • Guide, develop, and execute mission analysis including signal collection, measures of effectiveness, figures of merit, performance assessment, and technical performance measurement.
  • Report findings to customers and peers.
  • Understand and contribute to acquisition management and technical approach development to guide next generation systems to provide resilient space and ground programs for SIGINT space and ground systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Have technical and analytic understanding of SIGINT satellite mission analysis.
  • BS degree.
  • 5-10 years’ experience with space systems acquisition and / or sustainment.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter who can partner with multiple teammates.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in engineering discipline or systems engineering.
  • 10+ years’ experience with space systems test, acquisition and /or sustainment.
  • Understanding of acquisition and operations technology best practices.
  • Specific knowledge of the NRO space and ground systems and processes.
