KBR is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer in El Segundo. Make a difference for national security by joining a team of dedicated professionals in El Segundo, CA, who assist the US Space Force (USSF) in developing and deploying the next generation space and ground systems for missile warning (MW) capabilities. These systems alert senior military officials when missile launches occur around the globe.

Our Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team has an immediate need for an Integration and Test Engineer with test and verification planning, and mission integration experience in Department of Defense (DoD) space-based and ground systems. We are looking for an innovative, creative, and highly motivated individual to support the strategic planning and tactical execution of test and verification activities. A successful Integration and Test Engineer will provide test, verification, and integration expertise in support of the Space and Missile Systems Center’s (SMC) MW capability area.

Responsibilities :

  • Interacting with contractor and government leads to ensure that all command and control requirements are consistent across the capability area
  • Ensuring all operational, enterprise, program, and command and control requirements are appropriately documented and maintained in Model-Based Systems Engineering software
  • Managing component and segment-level integration and test activities to ensure command and control requirements are met, including requirement traceability to sell-off verification and test events
  • Developing, documenting, executing, integrating and evolving command and control test events, as required in support of systems engineering and integration efforts
  • Supporting test article tracking, deficiency reporting, and test report generation
  • Analyze integration and testing mission data to determine whether mission performance requirements have been met
  • Developing and briefing data packages that provide analysis results to inform the government decision-makers
  • Collaborating with prime contractors, other team contractors, government civilians, and members of the USSF

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Science or Engineering with demonstrated system engineering and integration experience with space, ground, operations and sustainment segments of DoD, NSA, or NRO programs with a proven delivery record. Relevant system engineering and integration experience to be evaluated and considered for acceptability in lieu of technical Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with updating, changing, integrating, testing, and evaluating command and control software in support of space and ground systems supporting spacecraft development and/or operations
  • Strong, proactive individual who takes the initiative to identify, own and solve customer problems
  • Experience working with Space Force/Air Force/DoD customers across space and ground segment organizations to coordinate component and systems integration

Desired Qualifications

  • MW Mission experience
  • Advanced Degree in Science, Engineering or Math
  • Experience working with Model-Based Systems Engineering software tools, such as SPARX Enterprise Architect or No Magic CAMEO

Security Clearance: Must have an active Top Secret clearance with Current SSBI
