General Job Overview:

The Program Coordinator will work with program leadership and the technical team to ensure successful execution of DoD missile development programs. Responsibilities include regular interactions with stakeholders across the program and enterprise focused on the following objectives:

  • Support planning and coordination of DoD programs including development of budgets and schedules
  • Ensure implementation of company policies and practices
  • Support development of proposals
  • Collaborate with Program Control to monitor budgets and track expenditures/transactions
  • Coordination with procurement/subcontracts to ensure on time delivery of materials and services
  • Help build positive relations within the team and external parties
  • Keep all members of the team up-to-date with relevant program information
  • Communicate with team members, support functions, and the customer to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda
  • Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations etc.)
  • Keep updated records and create reports
  • Support growth and program development
  • Create presentations, summaries and helping materials to support customer and company-wide communication and understanding of the program

Experience Requirements:

Demonstrated ability in DoD program coordination focused on the following:

  • In-depth knowledge of program management and product development procedures
  • Thorough understanding of DoD contracting processes
  • Generation of proposals supporting DoD programs
  • Material and Subcontractor procurement supporting DoD programs
  • Hands on experience in budgeting and scheduling
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Attention to details
  • Proactive problem solver
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance; Desired: Active Secret clearance
  • Desired: Knowledge of Earned Value Management

Education Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree +3 years of experience
  • Associate's Degree plus 2 years of experience is equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree
