KBR is seeking a highly motivated Business Operations Specialist to support the NRO’s SIGINT Directorate. The successful candidate can guide and lead the financial management, budgeting process, program control, and monitoring tools such as earned value management. The SIGINT Directorate is looking to address future intelligence collection challenges with innovative solutions. The successful candidate understands the mission needs to overcome development and operations limitations of current systems and can guide revolutionary change in how the NRO conducts its mission.


  • Support development of Statements of Work, RFPs, CDRLs, and other acquisition-related material.
  • Support financial management of the SIGINT portfolio, including the fiscal year budgeting process.
  • Develop, implement, execute, and train others on tools, techniques, and processes to manage business operations within the NRO SIGINT Directorate.
  • Coordinate review schedules and timelines with Government customer.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Have technical and analytic capabilities in business operations to support management of a directorate-level organization.
  • BS degree.
  • 3-5 years’ experience with space systems acquisition and / or sustainment financial or business management.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter who can partner with multiple teammates.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business discipline or financial management.
  • 5-10 years’ experience with space systems acquisition and /or sustainment.
  • Understanding of acquisition and operations technology best practices.
  • Specific knowledge of the NRO space and ground systems and processes.
