JOB DESCRIPTION:  The Training Administrator will be responsible for a wide range of ad-hoc administrative management support to a training program that prepares technical officers to deploy to the field.  These important responsibilities include maintaining the training calendar, contacting and scheduling guest speakers, compiling the schedule – to include day-to-day events for the course -- and supporting Moodle administration by inputting dates, quiz sections, and setting up new Hive collections to link to Moodle.  The candidate will assist with conducting exercise coordination, updating course rubrics and lesson plans, facilitating class exercises, and preparing course material to ensure content is consistent with overall course goals.  Additionally the training administrator will assist with developing a virtual, collaborative means of communication and encouraging current, field, and new training designees to interact and share ideas.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have active/current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree (4 years of relevant experience may substitute in lieu of degree) and 14+ years of related experience.
  • Must have experience assisting with development, implementation, and evaluation of project-based learning.
  • Must have ability to create measurable and enabling learning objectives, along with supportive course activities and exercises.
  • Must have successful experience facilitating training working groups and panel discussions.
  • Must have experience with team collaboration tools such as Hive and Moodle.
  • Must have experience working directly with training managers and SME’s to deliver effective training experiences.
  • Must have experience operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and milestones.
