Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented SAFe Program Consultant to join our team in Austin, TX.

Support the advancement of the maturity of the SCM Product Line (PL) through compliance with the DevSecOps process, SAFe implementation and/or other OIT initiatives.  To complete this task, the individual shall provide a senior team of SMEs to support the integration and oversight of capabilities within the PL products through collaboration with relevant stakeholders and partners. Additionally, the individual shall support planning across interdependent systems to mitigate technical risk and improve integration with business processes.  As part of this task, the individual shall manage the following Supply Chain processes:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assists in defining new application implementation requirements, to include the generation of Epics and translation to User Stories while mitigating dependencies between them;
  • Consolidates requirements or sequencing to generate product line efficiencies;
  • Understands future state requirements for a successful implementation of new supply chain applications in the VA and identifies impacts to legacy or dependent systems;
  • Provides guidance on dependencies between supply chain implementation requirements to reduce risk as new capabilities are introduced and current systems are retired;
  • Identifies and analyzes the systems targeted for integration and the technologies needed to implement them;
  • Assists with database solutions and designs for data migrations during for implementations at VA sites; 
  • Understanding of current and future state data flows, networking, cybersecurity and infrastructure requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 10 years of related experience.
  • High School Diploma with minimum of 18 years of related experience.
  • Must have one or more of the following certifications: SAFe 5 Agilist (SA), SAFe 5 Government Practitioner (SGP), and SAFe 5 Release Train Engineer (RTE), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, ITIL V3, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain VA Public Trust Clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to move about inside the office or IT environment to access computer systems, modules; equipment and IT machinery.
  • Must be able to constantly operate computers and other IT environment systems such as IT machinery, modules, etc.
  • Must be able to position self to maintain computer systems both at lower height levels and upper height levels as needed and required.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • The person in this position must be able to detect, identify, and judge audible alarms.
  • The person in this position must be able to detect, identify, observe, and assess written communications; presentations; and manuals.
  • Must be able to move, install, uninstall, and transport up to 50 pounds in an IT officer environment.
  • May be required to work in outdoor environment and be exposed to outdoor weather conditions as needed or required.
