Poland BOSS: Fire Crew Chief
NREMT Fire Crew Chief
Supervises the operations element of a fire protection organization to
ensure it provides quality resource protection and firefighting support to
aircraft operations and facilities. Prevents the loss of life and property
from fire. Protects and preserves evidence at a fire scene and investigates
fire incidents. Plans, schedules, and supervises fire protection activities.
Directs and controls fire attack, confinement, salvage, overhaul,
ventilation, and rescue activities, to include performing emergency medical
care and CPR. Typically requires 10 years of overall fire department
o High School Diploma or Equivalent
o DoD, IFSAC, or ProBoard Fire Fighter I & II
o DoD, IFSAC, or ProBoard Driver Operator Pumper
o DoD, IFSAC, or ProBorad HazMat Awareness & Operations
o National Registered EMT and CPR : CPR Healthcare Provider Card from American Heart
Association (Adult, Child, and Infant CPR with AED)
o DoD, IFSAC, or ProBoard Fire Officer I
o DoD, IFSAC, or ProBoard Fire Instructor I
o DoD, IFSAC, or ProBoard Fire Inspector I
o FEMA ICS 100, 200, 700, 800
o DoD, IFSAC, or ProBoard Driver Operator MWS
o DoD, IFSAC, or ProBoard HAZMAT Technician
o Must be fluent in English
o Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 12 months
of remaining validity AND with at least 4 blank visa/stamp pages remaining
o Must possess driver's license with at least 6 months of remaining
o Must obtain and maintain an International Driving Permit
o Position requires U.S. Citizenship
o Must possess security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain.
