KBR is seeking a Part Time SME – Satellite Orbit Operation to join our team.

Must be a U.S. Citizen


  • Develops and applies advanced methods, theories and research techniques in investigation and solution of complex and difficult system design requirements and problems
  • Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services. Provides technical consultation to other organizations
  • Supports the establishment of network connectivity via NASCOM for the Near-Earth Network and the Space Network for 2-way communications in support of multiple small missions
  • Assesses and resolves difficult and complex technical issues associated with Ground Operations.

Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, or related field
  • 30 + years of related work experience
  • Expertise in satellite operations, analysis, computer programming, and solar astronomy
