Position Description

KBR’s global business comprises two main segments – Government Solutions (GS) and Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS). This role sits within STS in the Integrated Solutions business unit. Integrated Solutions is the engineering and project delivery group providing services which include front-end and detailed engineering, procurement, construction services, and program management primarily in the hydrocarbons and energy transition industries.

We are looking for an energetic, proactive Supply Chain Department Manager to lead the team across the EMEA and APAC regions.

You will be an experienced leader in the provision of procurement and/or subcontract services to energy projects from concept to completion. As an agile collaborator you will lead a team of supply chain professionals and subject matter experts providing a range of services to KBR’s clients. You will also be responsible for input into KBR bids and proposals as well as overall responsibility for the supply chain function across existing projects and teams.

The position is ideally based in KBR’s Leatherhead Campus. Flexible working can be discussed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for the oversight of the Procurement and Subcontracts team.
  • Accountable for the overall identification and development of Procurement and Subcontracts resources in line with business requirements.
  • Assisted by subject matter experts supports the development, implements, and enforces the compliance of company global procurement and materials policies.
  • Is accountable for the performance and results of the supply chain discipline.
  • Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to the supply chain groups.
  • Manages the write up for bids and proposals, takes active part in procurement strategy for the project, including man hour estimates.
  • Guides the development of functional strategy and is responsible for global processes and procedures.
  • Collaborates on the execution of departmental goals with other functional leaders to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead supply chain (procurement and / or subcontract) teams on one or more project as Project Procurement Manger / Project Subcontracts manager.
  • Supply Chain interfaces with complete KBR company on systems & work processes.
  • Lead and support the development of purchasing, subcontracts and corporate procurement teams within KBR’s Chennai Operating Centre.

Skills and experience:

  • Project experience from concept to completion
  • Oil and Gas industry experience is required
  • Large project experience as a project procurement manager or subcontract manger leading a team of supply chain professionals.
  • Experience across range of contract models (including lump Sum and fully reimbursable).
  • Full supply chain expertise.
  • Expert collaborator across multiple discipline and international offices.
  • Client facing experience.

Educational experience :

  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • CIPS qualified preferred
