Supervisor- Food Services
Operates and maintains all aspects of a Dining Facility Kitchen operation. Programs menus, orders rations and supplies, develops and enforces sanitation, security and safety standards, trains employees, maintains and orders equipment, evaluates employee’s job performance and placement of personnel to effectively perform mission. Monitors and maintains food storage, preparation and sanitation facilities, food temperatures, and food preparation. Ensures that all reports, inventories and headcount are maintained to 100% accuracy. Follows and enforces requirements in the Food Service SOP, NAVSUP 486, and NAVMED 5010 Chapter 1.
Previous experience in management of large scale cafeteria style food service operations or hotel management environment a plus.
Culinary Certification a plus.
