We are looking to recruit a Shop Helper to join our team at Sparrows in Houma, Louisiana.The main purpose of the role is to assist in maintaining shop and equipment. General warehouse duties such as assisting with inventory and core tracking.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Operate lawn equipment
- Assist mechanics in assembly/inspection/repair of equipment or components.
- Inspect and test water bags as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of shop and yard.
- Understand and comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Ensure company owned equipment is properly used.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications and experience
- High School diploma or Equivalent
