Title:

Senior Information Assurance Engineer - TS/SCI

Be part of a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team supporting prototype development of warfighting capabilities that increase lethality, survivability, and warfighter effectiveness. As a member of the team you will integrate with cross-functional teams to conduct research, design, development, prototyping, systems engineering, integration, testing and evaluation, transitioning, and training across multiple technology areas to include: Geolocation and Tagging, Tracking, Locating; Sensor, Data Fusion, and Dissemination; Unconventional / Asymmetric Warfare / Support to Special Operations; Situational Awareness; Cyberspace and Spectrum Warfare Operations; Air Superiority; Command, Control and Spectrum Utilization; Real-Time/Near Real Time Large Data Analytics and Virtualization. Projects in the portfolio will range in quantity, scope, duration, and complexity. Projects are designed to transition to warfighters and/or national intelligence agencies for operational use, sustainment and appropriate acquisition Programs of Record for further development.

Position Description/Job Responsibilities:

  • This position will support our AF TENCAP customer contribute to the design, development, test, and documentation of the information system; these activities contribute to the Information System Security Assessment and Authorization (A&A) practices that in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) are current and effective which will result in an Authorization to Operate (ATO)
  • The selected candidate will gather and organize technical information about the organization’s mission goals and needs and then implements the development, implementation, and enforcement of information security standards and procedures and ensures that all information systems are correctly operating in regards to security policy
  • Ensure RMF requirements are established
  • Write, review, and make recommendations regarding cybersecurity policies, self-assessment reviews, security test and evaluation reports, and security engineering processes and practices
  • Lead cybersecurity engineering tasks including policy development, risk assessment, for hands-on development and operation of information security applications while ensuring the security posture is maintained
  • Activities will ensure that security policy and procedures are in compliance, perform technical vulnerability assessments, security product implementation, cyber threat assessments, while maintaining vigilance of persistent threats

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience; Master’s Degree preferred
  • In lieu of degree, High School Diploma with a minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience
  • Certification:
  • CISSP or other certification approved by DoD 8570.01-M
  • Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, for IAT Level III
  • Active TS/SCI is required; must be a US Citizen

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Basic Compensation:

Pay range: $120,000.00 – $160,000.00

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
