Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Engineer Mid-Level to join our team in Maryland.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Ability to contribute to projects and technical reports, competence in understanding requirements and meeting the needs of the customer. Proficiency in C, C++, software and hardware reverse engineering, network stack, and familiarity with x86 assembly and  disassembler such as IDA Pro.

Duties may include:

•Provides application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project

•Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications

•Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications

•Analyzes requirements, and maintains, tests and integrates application components

•Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented. Requires expanded knowledge and experience in own area; incumbents are still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills

•Builds knowledge of the company, processes, and customers

•Solves a range of straightforward problems

•Analyses possible solutions using standard procedures

•Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction

•Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own area of expertise while developing additional skill sets

•Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work

•No supervisory responsibilities but may provide guidance to new associates

•Solves standard problems by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents

•Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies

•Explains information to others in straightforward situations

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires Bachelor’s Degree and 3 or less years of experience development/exploitation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SECDEVOPS development practices  

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across and/or around a business campus or large facility.
