Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conceptualizes and renders innovative, compliant proposal graphics

  • Works collaboratively with proposal management, coordinators, writers, and subject matter experts

  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills

  • Develops and applies the color palette for proposal responses and oral presentations

  • Ensure adherence to version control, file naming, and file maintenance procedures using Privia

  • Ensures proposal graphics are customer focused and compliant

  • Designs and leads production of graphic elements for print and electronic submission such as covers, spines, and CD labels/covers

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 8–10 years of related experience

  • Expert in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite/Creative Cloud products)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., PowerPoint)

  • Strong artistic ability, including desktop publishing experience, oral presentation development skills, and/or FEDSIM proposals

  • Experience visualizing data into appealing layouts and multimedia products

  • Ability to turn around graphics quickly and help authors translate complex concepts into effective visuals

  • Flexibility to work independently with minimal supervision, and also collaborate in a team environment

  • Detail-oriented, excellent analytical and time-management skills

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • TS/SCI Security Clearance required

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

  • Occasional Travel within the VA/MD area
