Will provide engineering support and analysis to the US Army PATRIOT Ground Support Equipment Product office in a Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ground Test (GT) Lab environment by participating in MDA GT Lab activities as a systems analyst. The candidate will be responsible for conducting Quick Look Analysis of the Army weapon systems and simulations, generating Daily Status Reports, and reviewing GT event documentation. Analysis of the system and simulation will include system initialization, system operations, engagement processes, interoperability, and system performance. The candidate will also assist in the scheduling and coordination of lab personnel and resources, the documentation of lab configuration for MDA GT events, and execution of the development hardware and software representation.
The ideal candidate should be a problem-solver, resourceful, independently motivated and detail oriented. The position requires good time management capabilities and communication skills. Experience with Linux and general networking knowledge required. Familiarity with missile defense systems and/or systems modeling and Linux+ Certification and/or Security+ Certification desired. Secret clearance is required.
Relocation : Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
