Journeyman Systems Analyst

KBR is currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Systems Analyst (JSA) for the JTDI program with knowledge supporting deployed applications at remote sites. The JSA will provide technical support for the Joint Delivery Management System (JDMS) java based client server application. The JSA must be customer focused in support of our warfighter mission and have a broad technical knowledge of the supported network infrastructure. The JSA must also understand the DoD warfighter customer base in support of Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). The JSA will be part of a team responsible that responsible for the JDMS application data transfer of aviation and ship maintenance and logistics data. The JSA shall have the knowledge and skills to support JDMS deployed systems supporting CONUS and OCONUS data transfer between ship and shore systems. The JSA tasks include end user customer phone support and response to JTDI service and incident requests.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide daily status situational report (SITREP) to contractor team lead or Project lead
  • Provide continual service improvement and customer feedback on sustainment support activities and make recommendations to improve JTDI sustainment support to the war fighter
  • Provide problem escalation and incident routing to the proper JTDI support group
  • Leverage Service Desk ticketing system track and document completed tasks
  • Utilize splunk log file monitoring dashboards, applications, and tools to verify JDMS data transfer status on all supported nodes
  • Support JDMS testing, customer demonstrations, and ACAS security scans in the AWS GovCloud Government Acceptance Test Environment (GATE) environment
  • Support JDMS integration within future Enterprise IL4 and IL5 GovCloud infrastructure
  • Work with NAVSEA/CANES site personnel to coordinate maintenance activities that impact system availability
  • Provide proactive customer response to break-fix activities impacting system readinessRequirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences, Technology, degree or equivalent with 5 to 8 years’ experience
  • Working knowledge with Microsoft Server 2016 and 2019
  • Working knowledge with Microsoft IIS web services
  • Working knowledge with RedHat Linux Operating Systems
  • Working knowledge with MS PowerShell and Linux shell scripting
  • Ability to learn supported systems
  • Security + certification
  • Operating System Certification preferred
  • Secret Clearance, Top Secret preferred
