Systems Engineer - C4I

The Role

This role is key to the delivery of the LAND 121 Phase 4 project in our Land Vehicle Systems Branch (LVSB) Integrated Work Package (IWP) for Defence. You will oversee and coordinate technical aspects of the project, as well as some people management and team leadership responsibilities, and act as a main point of contact with the client. A focus on building relationships, managing KBR’s partnerships and maintaining client satisfaction will be key to this role, with a view to maximising business opportunities within the agreed operating structure.

Additionally this role will have responsibility for budgeting and cost management of the project, as well as risk management, reporting, governance and quality assurance.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

  • Experience inmanagement of deliverables-based projects
  • Strong people management and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated experience within Defence and/or Defence Industry
  • A background in engineering with relevant qualification(s)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional project management qualifications highly desirable
  • Experience in Verification and Validation (V&V) planning and test execution (Desirable)
  • Australian Citizen witha current AGSVA clearance or the ability to obtain one
