Description

The National Security Customer Group of SAIC is seeking a Chief of Strategy, Innovation and Controls to support a transformational infrastructure program within the DoD.
 
The Chief Strategy, Innovation & Controls will assist the Government with development of transformational strategic goals, by utilizing industry best practices, enhancing processes/solutions, proposing alternatives, and highlighting potential risks, all in pursuit of optimizing the enterprise-wide IT service delivery across DCSA. The CSIC shall provide recommendations on innovative design, development, implementation, and cultivation of IT service management as a strategic asset and not only an organizational capability. The CSIC will be the focal point responsible for planning, designing, directing, conducting, coordinating, and advising on projects and programs of broad scope and unusual complexity involving systems engineering/computer science and technical integration concepts in network design and optimization areas.  Provides oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes and procedures that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform to established standards and agency guidelines.

Qualifications

  • An active TS Clearance with eligibility for SCI.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 18+ years of experience. 
  • Proven experience as a CIO or similar managerial role ; working with upper-level IT staff to develop and implement department goals
  • Five years demonstrated experience in applying continuous process improvement, IT and/or workforce transformation

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience overseeing the execution of complex technical projects in the areas of IT infrastructure migration and cloud-based adoption.  
  • Experience deploying and operating secure systems in the DOD.  
  • Graduate degree (MA/MS) in IT Management, project management, or computer information systems or MBA with an emphasis on IT
  • An active Project Management Institute Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification
