Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented CNO Network Developer to join our team in the Herndon, Virginia.

A qualified candidate will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:

  • Develop software to configure and maintain remote hosts
  • Work with senior team members to diagnose and provide solutions for network connectivity issues
  • Handle escalated user problems, questions, and request on network issues.
  • Provide highly skilled technical assistance in network planning, engineering and architecture.
  • Responsible for conducting research of new technologies and implementation strategies
  • Provide feedback to other team members on code changes through reviews.
  • Configure and manage virtual network topology
  • Be a self-starter and able to work with limited oversight on significant problems
  • Willingness to grow responsibilities over time

Required Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience in network management and development.
  • Five (5) years of experience programming in Java/Python/C++ or equivalent.
  • Technical writing/documentation & presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Networking within virtualized environment.
  • Experience in firewall management including IP-tables rules.
  • Experience with Ansible or Terraform preferred.
  • Experience with python preferred.
  • Experience with Wireshark or tcpdump.
  • Experience with git or mercurial.
  • Experience with Agile team ceremonies and practices.
  • Network Administration Experience.
  • System Administration Experience.

Clearance Requirement:

  • Minimum Interim Secret clearance is required to start.

COVID-19 Work Arrangements:

  • Work location is in Herndon, VA and candidate will be required to be in the office
  • Limited (<20%) remote work is a possibility after an introductory period
  • Core business hours of 10am-2pm will be required

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
  • Repetitive Motions
