Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technology Training Specialist - Cybersecurity to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring course learning objectives are met and can assess student needs and tailor the course delivery to meet student needs.
  • Working cohesively with other instructors on exchange of ideas for innovative instructional delivery.
  • Tracking assigned contract deliverables to include course content updates and reports following instruction, to ensure quality and on-time delivery of tasks and deliverables.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the topic or course being instructed.
  • As a cybersecurity professional you have the opportunity to support multiple classes such as Network Operations Specialists, Linux System Administrators, DBAs, Cyber Defense Analysts, Vulnerability Assessment Analysts, Systems Security Analysts, etc

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S. or B.A. degree or above in computer or business-related field is required; Experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • All instructors shall hold one of the following: a commercial instructional certificate (e.g., CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer+, Microsoft Certified Technical Trainer), a degree in training and/or education, or a completion certificate or certification from a military service school.
  • DoD 8570.01 IAT Level-I or higher certification is required.
  • One of the following baseline certifications are required: A+CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+CE, or SSCP.
  • Classroom or virtual classroom teaching experience required (2 years min).
  • Strong presentation skills and excellent oral communication skills required.
  • Technical expertise in one or more cybersecurity roles within the DoD.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to distill knowledge and skills into visuals and other guidance for students.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Curriculum design and development experience desired.
  • Virtual training environment design and development experience desired, building virtual machine labs for student engagement.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active Interim Secret clearance

  • Must be able to type
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
