Title:

Mission Manager

The successful candidate for the Mission Manager (Msn Mgr) position will be part of the KBR team supporting the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) in the planning, coordination, and application of new test and evaluation capabilities. The Msn Mgr will be responsible for: Gathering and developing customer requirements; Coordinating concepts of support, complexity analysis, overall support plans; Identifying and coordinating resources; Actively participating in and collaborating on complex aviation test and evaluation efforts; Provide real-time assistance to control room personnel to ensure adherence to Mission Support Plan parameters and conditions; Coordinating the analysis, development, and delivery of data products; and End to end execution of business processes from initial rough order of magnitude estimates, cost projections and tracking, through to final cost reconciliation. The Msn Mgr will coordinate the inputs of various contributing and supporting/supported equities, and identify and call attention to potential conflicts in availability, readiness, and configuration. The Msn Mgr will actively contribute to collaborative deconfliction of competing demands. The Msn Mgr will proactively engage both sponsors and capability providers to solicit inputs and develop compromises while adhering to established restrictions, policy, and priorities to best achieve the customers schedule, technical, and data product requirements. The Msn Mgr will be required to brief updates and status assigned support missions, organize and facilitate incremental reviews, adjudicate and reconcile technical and operational issues that impact the approval process, schedule and oversee regular coordination meetings, and actively manage the completion of delegated tasks. Responsibilities include: The execution of and adherence to organizational planning and approval processes; Collaborating on reporting and metric tracking; and Development of detailed documentation, briefs, plans, and approval and configuration change requests; Collaborative deconfliction of low density high demand resources; and Development, review and approval of Event Folders and Mission Support Plans and all associated technical and operational internal and external authorizations and approvals. The Msn Mgr is expected to handle up to 3 or more separate support efforts simultaneously and actively assist peers and associates as required.
