Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Tier 2 Test Engineer to join our team in the Springfield, Virginia. 


  • Analyzes system requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis, and report status and results

  • Supports the development of Government test and evaluation documentation e.g., Test & Evaluation (T&E) Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports.

  • Works with other test organizations to support T&E program integration

  • Provides specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, level, maturity, and performance areas

  • Operate within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) scrum team to develop and deploy Enterprise ICAM services to include: Coarse-grained, fine-grained attribute and role-based authorizations, Entitlement Management, Business Analytics, Digital Policy Management

  • Generate Federation and ICAM metrics analysis and discrepancy resolution

  • Maintain and create system and application documentation such as SOPs

  • Create internal ICAM metrics and consumer business analytics reports

  • Provide DR/and PBI management  


  • *Possess an active TS/SCI with ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph*

  • Two (2) years of demonstrated Software Development experience with a SAFe environment and a Bachelors' Degree (in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field)

  • ITIL Foundations v3 or v4 certification or demonstrated knowledge of ITIL principles 

  • Experience with incident and change management processes and procedures

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Preferred DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 compliance


  • SAFe and Agile methodologies

  • Amazon Web Services

  • Developing and executing system level test plans for program capabilities

  • Automating test activities and plans

  • Working with independent verification and validation organizations


  • Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph


  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
