Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and results driven Program Manager to join our team at JBAB.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Manage raw storage, LUNs and Virtual Data stores
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and command policies regarding storage services
  • Optimization and reporting ofof system performance, planning and project advisory support as it relates to storage
  • Work with the design team director to complete design/engineering tasks for new SAN deployments
  • Collect Storage requirements from the data owners
  • Plan/design SAN capabilities based on storage requirements
  • Installation of SAN equipment in datacenter racks
  • Troubleshoot and replace SAN device/equipment/drives as necessary
  • Execute a full inventory of all the media installed in the SAN and server storage
  • Install, configure, and maintain the critical backup infrastructure and processes, including managing server and database restorations
  • Gathering requirements, creation, configuration, and testing of backup jobs
  • Provide daily support of the storage environment and backups
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Work on storage related tasks such as volume creation, LUN provisioning and data migration
  • Provision storage and monitors capacity
  • Create SAN storage usage and capacity reports
  • Perform all maintenance, configuration, and deployments to the SAN system
  • Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the storage area network (SAN)
  • Manage and configure MDS switches

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience and 7- 9 years of relevant experience
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification required (CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Sec+, CND or SSCP)
  • DoD 8570 computing environment certification within 6 months of hire
  • 5+ years experience with Microsoft Windows Systems, HP SANs, VMware products
  • 5+ years of experience designing and managing enterprise storage solutions, troubleshooting, replication configuration, and performance management; and have a general working knowledge of networking
  • Willingness to work after normal duty hours (nights and weekends) as needed during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance windows

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITILv4 Foundations certification
  • HPE certifications
  • Excellent design, analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent maintenance organizational skills

Security Clearance Requirements: 
Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required adjudicated in past 5 years. Willingness to submit for CI Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time
  • Must be able to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery
  • Must be able to position self to maintain office supplies on variable height shelving.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • Must be able to observe and detect employee deviations from established policy
