Electrical Engineer

KBR has an immediate need for an entry level Electrical Engineer to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK.

Position Description/Job Responsibilities:

  • This position will support our Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems (ATCALS), B-1 and B-52 customers, by solving electrical sustainment issues
  • The sustainment projects address obsolete components in multiple instrumentation, control, power, electronic, electro-mechanical interface systems
  • The engineer will be responsible for study, design, specification and services related to electrical and electronic systems
  • Under direct supervision, the engineer performs assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles
  • Uses judgment in making selections and adaptation of engineering alternatives
  • Performs specific and well-defined assignments:

o Develop technical documentation and publications relating to users,

systems, processes, workflows, operations, products, and services

o Create new electrical schematics

o Ensure proper system artwork generation

o Implement design changes of existing components

o Write engineering change orders and reports


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • This is an entry-level position
  • Certification as an Engineer-in-Training preferred
  • Good oral and written communication skills required
  • Aerospace or ATCALS experience preferred
  • Experience and skills using SolidWorks Electrical and NI Circuit Design Pro preferred
  • Candidate must have the ability to obtain a Security Clearance
