General Job Overview:
The Track Management Analyst duties will be related to the Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) of Track Management software for Army systems. Track management includes the correlation of data from multiple sensors to provide the current air picture to the weapon system. Candidate will review prime contractor software requirements documentation and software and requirements change documentation for correctness, completeness, software safety compliance, testability and other attributes. The analyst will evaluate software design and algorithms for compliance with predicted desired performance. Tasks include on-site participation in prime contractor development tests, software design reviews, code reviews, test plan reviews, test report reviews, problem report reviews and major program meetings, as requested. The analyst will independently review Formal Qualification Test (FQT) data, independently test software and produce independent test reports.
ABET accredited BA/BS in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics; or related technical field
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
Knowledge of the Ballistic Missile Defense Systems (e.g., GMD, THAAD, Aegis, Patriot, LRDR, SBX, TPY-2, etc.).
Scripting experience using Perl, Python, MATLAB, etc.
Experience with data reduction and analysis tools
