The ManTech HR Sector Operations Team is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join us in our journey and commitment to continue to make ManTech an Employer of Choice. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Partner closely with business leaders to develop and implement human capital initiatives that contribute significantly to the most critical business results. Our HR service center handles the transactional HR support; so, it is the primary role of the HRBP to provide thought leadership to the business through the design and execution of talent strategy. This requires forming a strong and productive partnership with our corporate delivery centers (compensation, benefits, learning & development, employee relations and HR analytics) while representing the priorities of the business in order to work across lines and provide consultation that effectively impacts the direction of the people strategy. In many cases, this requires the ability to know when to challenge, when to support, and how to influence in a way that drives organizational change.
The primary areas of human capital focus include talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee retention (driving down the attrition), employee outreach & engagement, workforce planning and forecasting, development of employees that increases the capability of our workforce, and internal talent mobility.
Work independently and make consultative and holistic decisions, ensuring high levels of collaboration with and influencing stakeholders and subject matter experts in a team environment.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of experience working in human resources
Proven experience in change management, such as driving change throughout the organization or leading a change effort
Knowledge of HR and employment laws and regulations
Proficiency with Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
MBA or Master’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent preferred
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects through full life cycle (design, develop, implement) and deliver impactful results
Demonstrated influencing, coaching and relationship building skills
Experience in the government contract environment
Experience with Workday
Top Secret (TS) clearance or ability to obtain
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
