Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Program Policy Officer to join our team in the Springfield, Virginia.
This position provides Policy and Section 508 support to the government products. The individual advises, assists, leads, manages, works and/or supports CIO-T’s Policy Business Operations; Policy development, review, coordination, adjudication, promulgation, communication, and compliance IAW CIO-T’s PLCM process; SME development, coordination and maintenance of all assigned agency-wide Policies; SME development, coordination and maintenance of all Self-Inspection Checklists, etc.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Advise and assist the agency SPP for CIO-T in fulfilling his role and responsibilities IAW the agency Corporate Policy Program to include the following:
Lead, manage, work and support agency CIO-T’s' Policy Business Operations
Lead, manage, work and support Policy development, review, coordination, adjudication, promulgation, communication, and compliance IAW CIO-T’s PLCM
Conduct independent verification and validation to ensure CIO-T Policies are clear, fact-based, accurate, outcome-driven, consistent with external guidance, and reflective of agency strategic planning
Support development/implementation of Policy Business Process Improvements
Support development, tracking and reporting of Policy Business Analytics
Support development, tracking and reporting of metrics and Policy Performance Measures
Prepare, track, and manage agency CIO-T Policy taskers, and assess, coordinate, and respond to N-CERTS Policy taskers
Maintain official records management files for Policy documentation
Serve as CIO-T Policy Officers for their TBD assigned policy functional areas
*Possess an active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph*
Eleven (11) years of related experience and a Bachelor’s Degree – OR – Nineteen (19) years of related experience with no college degree
Shall have expert knowledge of, and in-depth experience, skill and expertise leading, managing, and working IT policies IAW government processes and procedures
Shall have expert knowledge of, and in-depth experience, skill and expertise leading, managing, and working SME policy self-inspection checklists
Shall have extensive knowledge of, and in-depth experience, skill and expertise working and supporting IT policy development, review, coordination, adjudication, rescissions, and gaps IAW government processes and procedures
Shall be skilled in developing plans for policy development, assigning Policy Officers, Policy Champions, SMEs, OPRs and OCRs to develop and maintain assigned policies; in tracking and monitoring IT policy development progress, and in analyzing Policy Officer workloads; etc.
Shall be skilled in running queries and reports on policy: OPRs / OCRs, effective dates, expiration dates, Champions, SMEs, overarching policies, etc.
Shall have expert knowledge of, and in-depth experience, skill and expertise leading, managing, and working CIO-T’s Policies IAW CIO-T’s PLCM process and procedures
Shall have expert knowledge of, and in-depth experience, skill and expertise leading, managing, and working CIO-T’s SME Policy Self-Inspection Checklists
Shall have extensive knowledge of, and in-depth experience, skill and expertise working and supporting CIO-T Policy development, review, coordination, adjudication, rescissions, and gaps IAW CIO-T’s PLCM process and procedures, etc.
Shall be skilled in developing plans for policy development, assigning CIO-T Policy Officers, CIO-T-wide Policy Champions, SMEs, OPRs and OCRs to develop and maintain assigned policies; in tracking and monitoring CIO-T policy development progress, and in analyzing CIO-T Policy Officer workloads; etc.
Shall be skilled in the use of MS Project to develop plans for policy development
Shall be skilled in the use of MS Access to run queries and reports on policy
Shall be skilled in the use of MS Visio to view and/or diagram the PLCM process, etc.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
