Title:

Operations Research/Systems Analysis SME - TS/SCI

KBR is seeking an Operations Research/Systems Analysis SME with an active TS/SCI clearance for an upcoming contract in Bellevue, Nebraska. Duties will include:

  • Planning, development, execution, and analysis of strategic and campaign, and planning in crisis assessments. Assessment methodology is based primarily on guidance set forth in Joint Publications (JP) 5-0, JP 3-0 and Joint Doctrine Note (JDN) 1-15. These publications define assessments as "a process that measures progress of the joint force toward mission accomplishment." In USSTRATCOM, J7 conducts assessments to analyze progress toward National-military and Command-level objectives and effects. They provide relevance and context while describing what the information means in terms of progress toward global strategic end states. These assessments are repeatable processes that integrate the analytical results back into the planning, operations, and advocacy activities of the Command to inform senior-leader decision making.

Requirements:

  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI. U.S. Citizenship required
  • Typically requires a college or university degree in a related scientific or technical field. May be entry level for those with an advanced degree.
  • Typically requires 4 to 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Two (2+) years' experience conducting mission analysis, developing objectives, effects/measures
  • A wide range of methods and techniques used in operations research
  • Quantitative techniques and methods used to develop, adapt, modify, and apply models to resolve problems or define and clarify alternative solutions
  • Participate in study teams; Originate new ideas, projects, and methodologies
  • Execute projects and/or studies within established financial and/or time constraints
  • Develop and utilize appropriate data collection techniques
  • Understand the interrelationships between domain of expertise and other domains
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with USSTRATCOM organization desired
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
