The Opportunity

In addition to our existing portfolio of transport infrastructure projects, KBR has been awarded work on several significant upcoming road and rail projects. You are an experienced Senior Designer looking to contribute to keeping Victoria moving.

Our civil team are a group of passionate and experienced transport specialists. Reporting to the Drafting/Design Team Leader you will contribute to the delivery of a variety of transport infrastructure projects.

You will be responsible for completing civil designs and drafting work using various software package for design (eg CivilCad, 12D or MX) and AutoCAD computer software when required. You will also be confident liaising with a variety of stakeholders including project supervisors, engineers and junior staff. You will offer support and guidance to our junior staff and take on a lead role when required.

Who are you?

As an individual you are excited by the prospect of delivering iconic projects to the Victorian community and you will have a proven background in major transport infrastructure projects.

In addition, you will have the following:

  • Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent relevant qualification;
  • High standard of competency in 12D and AutoCAD; Exposure to OpenRoads
  • Developed design experience including knowledge and experience of TMR and BCC design standards;
  • Demonstrate an appropriate balance of practicality and innovation in your work;
  • Typically looking for 8+ years applicable industry experience in a design environment.
