SAIC is pursuing the opportunity to support the Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) Wallops Island, VA Programs Support Services.
Positions are contingnet upon contract award which is expected early 2022 and will be located in Wallops Island, VA.
Under a key component of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division ( MSWCDD) The Surface Combat Systems Center SCSC) will provide a wide variety of program services supporting AEGIS, AEGIS Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD), Ships Self Defense System (SSDS) and DDG 1000 program support. Support services will be provided for all current future NAVSEA and PEO IWS approved program activities on Wallops Island. Additionally, this effort will provide for the installation, activation and upgrade of various platform modernization initiatives at Wallops Island.
Most positions will require an Active Secret Level security clearance. Initial Interim Secret clearance is acceptable.

Combat Systems Maintenance Technicians including:
Provide comprehensive readiness, preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting support at the equipment and system level and restoration of equipment and systems to design specifications for all combat system facilities at SCSC. This includes AEGIS, AEGIS BMD, SSDS, and DDG 1000 combat systems, weapon systems, simulators, interface switching, tactical communications, tactical audio/visual, cable infrastructure, fiber infrastructure and equipment as listed in the ABEL. These systems are highly integrated and complex system of systems comprised of tactical and commercial equipment and computer programs. Will also provide on-site maintenance support personnel during all shifts and mission events to match expected customer agency workloads and quality of service expectations, maintenance requirements to maintain readiness, and essential real time troubleshooting of scheduled systems and equipment. Must perform maintenance tasks to include cable assembly, repair and installation (including fiber optic cable); cable removal; equipment overhaul and refurbishment; tactical electrical power connection and repair; and tactical cooling plumbing connection and repair, equipment foundation fabrication, and heavy weather preparation and recovery. The Contractor shall remove, ship, and replace SCSC equipment in support of Government requirements.
