Excelling in this position would require fast learning, a strong ability to problem solve in different circumstances and a keen tracking of improving current processes.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Answer incoming phone inquiries regarding customer accounts and direct the call to the correct department
Provide customers with information and assistance when required
Input data to set up customers recurring monthly service charges
Process credit memos, print contracts and write up cancellation forms
Issue and maintain customer referral credits
Audit customer contracts for accuracy
Respond to customer correspondence by mail, phone or e-mail
Follow established company programs to retain customers
Write up new contracts and riders
Meet defined department and individual retention goals after successful retention training is completed
HS Diploma or Equivalency
Minimum of two years Customer Service experience in an office setting
Experience in retention or sales
Proficient with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone
Ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy
Attention to detail
Customer service skills
Typing / keyboard
Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well
Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest
Team Player: Works well as a member of a group
Education Required: High School or better.
Experience Required: 2-3 years Customer Service
