Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Test Engineer to join our team for Remote work that allows 100% Telecommuting and working from home anywhere in the United States!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform automated software testing on a Large scale IT system built with Pega, Java, Linux, Oracle, Postrgres, and other technologies.
Responsible for performing testing of software to completion with each sprint, as part of an Agile delivery team that uses Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Develops, maintains, and upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products. Also writes, implements, and reports status for system test cases for testing. Test automation and scripts may involve the development of test scripts in Java, use of IBM Rational Functional Tester, use of Cucumber/Selenium application, or others.
Evaluates, recommends, and implements automated test tools and strategies.
Designs, implements, and conducts test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met.
Directs and/or participates in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 4 years of related experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Use of automated testing tools and development of test scripts in Java
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US citizen with an active Top Secret clearance.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
Constantly operates a computer.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
